In addition to previous updates for these operating systems, it includes enhancements such as improved Internet Explorer 11 compatibility for enterprise applications, usability improvements, extended mobile device management, and improved hardware support.Additionally, for Windows Server 2012 R2, it includes support for clustering configurations for hosters.

For administrators and enterprise installations, or end users who want to install this security update manually, Microsoft recommends that customers apply the update immediately using update management software, or by checking for updates using the Microsoft Update service.
